I postponed leaving for a day so I wouldn’t feel rushed packing and so that I could spend a little more time with Michelle. I’m extremely excited about this trip, I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, but it’s turning out to be very difficult to leave DC and especially Michelle.

Tomorrow I’ll take the metro out to 495 and see if I can hitchhike north to visit family in Maine!
